Clients will work with horses as a regular part of the schedule, with 3-5 equine-assisted therapy and equine learning activities per week depending on the level of care. Some activities may include riding based on individual preference, but most activities focus on daily care and handling.

The Christ-centered focus, combined with strong trauma-based therapeutic interventions such as Accelerated Resolution Therapy and Equine Therapy, to name a few, sets Genesis Ranch apart from other residential treatment centers. Not only do we use evidence-based trauma interventions; we use pharmaceutical supports as needed for stabilization purposes, giving the brain the opportunity to heal itself.
Genesis Ranch will provide a wholistic approach to teen girls. That means they will not only provide emotional support, they will also receive spiritual and physical support during their stay at Genesis Ranch.
Horses mirror human emotions without any judgement. There are thousands of teen girls out there looking for a connection and Genesis Ranch will be able to get many of therm where they need to be emotionally.
